“This trail is a downhill connector from the intersection with Pocahontas Trail #263 back to the road.

This is an important part of Eagle Camp Loop hike. The Eagle Camp Trail begins, at the intersection with Pocahontas Trail #263. From there, hikers will enjoy a one-mile downhill to the Eagle Camp parking area.
Along the way, the trail sports some fun, wet, gully crossings. Be aware that the trail crosses a creek just before the parking area, which has a bridge out as of 9/17, though hikers can easily cross 30 feet downstream on large rocks or can choose to wade through beside the rock crossing. This one is best at low water.
