This is one of two trails that grant trailhead access to the Forest Park Nature Center's trail system. Along the way, it connects with Lower Deer Run Trail and Deer Run Trail.
The trail travels beneath the forest canopy, which is largely made up of silver maple and oak trees, as it meanders past the creek for a while to eventually cross over and reach a junction with the Valley Trail Loop.
Flora & Fauna
It is not uncommon for hikers to spot wild turkey or deer on this trail.
