Description

Pinecone Trail is the transition from the aspen and pine forests to high alpine tundra.

The route is a steady hike up with views that open up the higher you go. The last couple of miles is a grind for the most part, except for the very last bit that mellows out before Wasatch Crest. This trail also make a nice downhill

This is a very popular biking area so be aware of your surroundings and respect other trail users.
