A section of the longer Red Trail

Leslie Kehmeier

Features -none-

Description

Built in the fall of 2011, this trail starts out with narrow rolling singletrack along the cliffs of the old CCC Quarry and transitions into a half mile descent down a trail littered with rocks and mountain bike features. The second section has more mountain bike features on the remaining downhill which is punctuated with short climbs. The trail weaves through some beautiful pine and hardwood groves.

This is a mountain bike trail though hikers are allowed on it. Be respectful of other users! Please be aware of blind turns and use caution accordingly. The trail ends at the road across from Mr. Toad

12 Miles from parking lot up Jekyll 'n Hyde over to the overlook. Difficulty vs. payoff wasn't great. Good trail to get in shape on though. 12mi — 3h 52m
