Description

Blue Ribbon Trail is once again open thanks to some generous landowners! This trail comes off of the top of the Gile MTB Trail and can be hikeed all of the way to Beaver Meadow Road, or the Blue Ribbon Passage (BRP) can be taken to Parcel 5.

The new segments of trail add in several hundred feet of descending and climbing. From the top of Gile Mountain Trail, you'll pass through several types of forest along the ridgeline until you reach the rerouted trail (a left hand downhill turn) which will take you on a winding and rooty descent.

Once you reach the bottom, a sharp right hand turn will send you back up a similarly winding and rooty climb. At the top, you'll rejoin the old Blue Ribbon trail. This can be hikeed all the way down to Beaver Meadow Road, or you can take a left hand turn down the final descent to pick up the Blue Ribbon Passage (BRP) and stay on the trails.
