Family Friendly While kids might have a small challenge through the steep section, they can certainly handle this trail.

Description

Starting from near the pond, this trail offers a pleasant change in scenery as it begins to follow Baisman Run through typical eastern hardwoods. Along the way, expect to cross the stream multiple times before gaining a ridge, through a particularly steep section, to then meander gently through more dense forest to cross a pipeline path near the trail's end at a large junction.

You'll have plenty of options to choose from upon reaching the junction, but a local favorite is to head right on the Loggers Trail to experience great views on the old ski hill.

Flora & Fauna

Visit this area in the autumn to see it erupt in fiery fall color.
