The Namakagon trail begins at the Namakagon Town Hall Trailhead. From the Town Hall hike southwest towards the gas pumps keeping the firehouse on your left and the red metal storage building on your right. The singletrack begins at the foot of a hill behind the gas pumps and heads west, climbing about 40 feet.
The trail has smooth sections punctuated by short, moderately rough bits.
Namakagon connects with the Patsy Lake, Glacier and Rock Lake trails for a multitude of different hikes.
