Description

Dahlonega Creek Road starts at the end of the pavement above Gibbonsville.

It can be hikeed up to access the CDT. It provides access from the Idaho side to some of the remote Montana trails like Ruby Creek.

This road is hikeed down as the last leg of the Continental Divide to Three Mile Ridge #124.

The road climbs gradually and steadily in the first half. From the first switchback up to the top of Big Hole Pass it climbs 2000'.
