“A paved portion of trail that spans the width of Land Between the Lakes, connecting Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.”— Joshua Hutchens
The trail follows alongside Highway 68/80 and mainly gives views of fields that grow corn, soybeans, or wheat. It passes alongside the Devil's Elbow boat ramp and fishing platform before going on to the Canton Bridge over Lake Barkley. Once the new bridge is completed, persons will be able to continue on the bridge over Lake Barkley.
Whether wanting an easy walk, run, bike ride, or a trail accessible to those with limited mobility, this section of the Central Hardwoods Trail shouldn't be missed.
