Description

This short loop trail follows a forest trail along the shoreline of Dennings Point. The trail never gets close to the water, however there are short access trails to see the river. Overall, the trail is flat and easy to follow. At the far tip of the point is a beach that is popular with kayakers on the Hudson to stop for a break.

You can access this trail from the Klara Sauer Trail, which is a one-mile trail starting from the Scenic Hudson's Long Dock Park in Beacon, New York.

Flora & Fauna

Deer are often encountered along the trail.
