Family Friendly The climb is easy and relatively short. My first trip was when I was a second grader at the elementary school and the whole class went up it.

Description

This trail goes to the top of Mount Caesar and is quite easy and good for kids since it's not that long. The trail is not technically blazed, but it's very easy to follow and there is a sign or two.

There is now a parking lot for the trail along a piece of pavement between the cemetery and the nursing home. The trail starts right across the pavement from the parking area before skirting the edge of the cemetery until the tree line.

From here, follow the stonewall to the doubletrack, and climb the rest of the way to the summit. Up top, enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding hills and lakes.

We went with our two year old. The terrain was extremely muddy in spots and the incline a bit much for her at times, but a perfect family spot! 1mi — 1h 30m

Was slippery going down the steep side, had the dog pulling me down, otherwise was a great hike 1mi — 1h 10m
