Family Friendly Youngsters will love the thrill of being so high off the ground, and the trail itself is short and pleasant.

Description

Starting from a junction with the Ozawindib Trail, the Aiton Heights Trail traverses primarily flat terrain under a blanket of dense forest to reach a junction with the Aiton Heights Fire Tower Connector and the beginning of the climb to the fabled fire tower.

Upon reaching the tower, scamper up its many flights of stairs to reach gorgeous views over the surrounding landscape. Though this is an exciting prospect for some, be aware that the tower is over 100 feet tall and the wind does cause the tower to sway.
