This is a spur add-on to the Babbish Gulch trail system.

Features River/Creek

Family Friendly Older kids could handle this trail's moderate grades and short length.

Description

Freeman Creek breaks off from Babbish Gulch just before reaching the intersection with Ute Service Road. For the most part, it's good singletrack and easy to follow.

There is a meadow portion in the middle that gets overgrown in the summer. At 1.2 miles, the trail intersects with a gas pipeline. Downhill beyond this is private property. You could try to follow the pipeline back to the west. It eventually meets up with Four Mile Road.
