Trail shared by DA Patton

A forested trail with a few good climbs.

DA Patton

Features Fall Colors · River/Creek · Wildflowers

Description

This is a beautiful shaded trail in a forest. It is very easy to follow. There are a few good climbs, and only one or two short, technical sections. Watch the waterfall crossing, it's very slippery!

Flora & Fauna

Occasional snakes in the summer. If you wander off-trail beware of poison ivy and ticks.

Best if going in clockwise direction, saves the fun parts for the ending 5.5mi

Quick easy loop. Some slight inclines up the ridge with a few viewpoints (hiked in December, probably cant see through foliage in summer months). L… 4.4mi

A great hike with several hills and side paths that were an added bonus that made it overall about 5.5 miles. 5.5mi — 2h 30m
