During hunting season, it's wise to wear orange blaze on this trail.

Description

This trail is located on the fringe of the Tombigbee National Forest - roughly 10 miles from the welcome center at Bluff Lake. The entire area is crisscrossed with forest service roads and gravel county roads. The trailhead is 250 yards down Bevil Hill Road. The trail is well-marked and maintained, and makes for a pleasant loop hike.

Flora & Fauna

Deciduous upland forest composed mostly of hard woods and some shortleaf pine.
