This is the descent from the Sun Gate to Machu Picchu. The trail is clearly marked via the Inca Create Stone Trail. No turns are available off the trail.

A side trail when in the Machu Picchu park goes out to the "Inca Bridge". You can't get all the way down to the bridge, but it's a fun walk atop steep walls down to the viewing point.

The Inca Bridge, at the lower left of the photo. It's actually planks over a collapsed section of the a pathway along a sheer wall. You can't get all the way down to it (too dangerous), but it illustrates the ingenuity of the people who built these trails.

We arrived at the Sun Gate before the sun rose. Machu Picchu was covered by clouds, which then burned away leaving an awesome view.
