“Signpost 15 is at the bottom, and you can proceed to the right or left and climb to 14, approx. 0.7 miles either way.

Marker #15 is at the bottom of the trail, and whether you take the right path or the left path, the climb and distance are about the same, with one short, steep climb on the right (north) path that may be difficult for beginners and even some intermediate hikers.
The left path does have more even slopes, with some leveling off to rest for the next segment. This is an all singletrack segment through hardwoods on the slopes of the West Branch Moraine.
