Description

Jasper Trail starts at the top of Crimson Ride as a rough doubletrack. Start by taking a right and heading east on the doubletrack. After two short uphill sections, begin descending the doubletrack. After a short, rocky downhill section, Jasper turns into a singletrack.

From this point, Jasper is a tight singletrack with an occasional tight switchback and a few punchy climbs are mixed in. Although you'll be tempted to take in the amazing scenery while hiking downhill, keep your eye on the trail as there are several tight turns that can catch you by surprise. After the trail flattens out a bit, you'll enter a more forested section of trail that will switchback down into a small gully and intersect with Ole' Roller.

From this intersection, you can take a right to climb Ole' Roller, although the suggested route would be to take a left and continue descending Ole' Roller to the intersection with East Colorow Trail East.
