Description

From Zum See, this wide path heads south and uphill. While there are a few steep pitches on the trail, it will be the views that take your breath away.

Plow your way past the houses and open terrain, past Chalet Z' Flesche, and you'll be very close to your destination. Once you have the Furi chairlift in your sights, you'll know you're close to the top.

The town of Furi was formed by ancient glaciers that have long since retreated. In their place are green pastures, thin larch forests, rounded hillocks, and rock formations. As it retreated, the Gorner Glacier left behind a landscape of polished rock.
