Description

The Lost Meadow Trail can be a challenging climb, but hikers are rewarded with exceptional meadows filled to the brim with wildflowers and wildlife.

After the first mile of climbing, the trail opens up to a gorgeous meadow that is filled with wildflowers in early to mid-summer, and patches of aspen. Following the meadow, the climb becomes steep and features an abundance of roots. Exercise caution as the roots may be wet and slippery.

Once the climb tops out, you'll descend, and the trail ends at an intersection with 503.

Flora & Fauna

Ponderosa and lodgepole pine are abundant, with a large aspen-lined meadow rife with wildflowers. Blue spruce dot the edges of the trail in limited numbers.
