Description

From the "Ken Burton Saddle" at the end of Brown Mountain Road, this trail heads down to the Arroyo. The trail was rebuilt by the MWBA and reopened in May 2016. It allows for a long loop up Brown Mountain Road and down through the Arroyo (Gabrieleno Trail) above the dam.

Route finding and creek hopping in the Arroyo can be a challenge. This is a quasi wilderness experience (albeit with traffic noise from the ACH) that you can access from Suburbia.
