Description
This opular hiking trail starts and ends as doubletrack trail with some gravel. Most foot traffic heads out to the bluff and back, but fewer continue around the full loop. The middle section is great singletrack that follows first along the bluff and then down to Cove Creek. From there, the trail takes a winding way back up from the creek. If you need more time or distance, simply turn around and take it in the opposite direction!
Flora & Fauna
Wildflowers, fence lizards, soaring vultures and maybe a bald eagle. Many songbirds including Great Crested Flycatcher, Wood Thrush, and Red-eyed Vireos. The area is part of the Great Missouri Birding Trail.
