Family Friendly The mostly flat terrain and manageable distance make this a great family hike.

Description

The Tamarack is an out and back trail from the C.O. Johnson Park in Byram to Route 206. Most of the trail is relatively easy, however there are a few spots with a steeper incline. The trail passes behind Johnson Lake and offers a nice view of the lake in the Spring and Fall.
