Description

The Dyckman Trail is a connector trail that links the Long Path on top of the Palisades and the Shore Trail that runs along the Hudson River. The trail is identified with yellow markers. The only way to access this trail is either from the Long Path or the Shore Trail. Follow the road and stone staircase/walkway down (or up) to/from the Hudson River.

The Dyckman Trail ends at the river and the Englewood Boat Basin. Here you can pick up the Shore Trail but you can only pick this up at the right of the boat basin, right on the river. Or vice versa if you are hiking a loop from the Shore Trail start.
