Description
The trail originates on the Cedar Brake Outer Loop shortly after crossing the Paluxy River. It quickly heads up the fall line and follows along the ridge. The trail runs through a dense forest of cedar trees that provides variable shade throughout the entirety of its duration. As you reach the top of your first climb, you are rewarded with an excellent view of the Paluxy River below and the surrounding valley. The trail continues along the ridgeline and terminates at the Cedar Brake Outer Loop along the rear boundary of the park. Overall, this makes for a nice hike that provides great views of the surrounding areas.
