Description

This trail can be accessed via the Interpretive Trail and can be done in either direction. Combining the two trails makes for a nice outing. The trail loops through the cottonwood forest in the Missouri River Valley along a pleasant grassy tread. It's a nice place to go in the winter as it is well sheltered by the forest, and the higher land to the west blocks the prevailing wind out of the northwest.

Flora & Fauna

Giant Canada goose are usually seen on the Missouri River, and deer can often be found in the forest.
