Family Friendly While the whole trail might be a bit much for youngsters, close proximity to cabins/campground make for a pleasant outing.

Description

Much of this trail is singletrack. Part of the trail takes you over a bridge across Cub Lake. You'll have to traverse the campground and a series of cabins as part of the trail as well as the levee on the eastern shore of Cub Lake. Low-lying areas will get your feet soggy if it has rained recently. There are plenty of views of the lake. Expect to see fellow hikers along the trail as it is well-used.

Flora & Fauna

Flowering trees are spectacular in the spring.
