Family Friendly Former carriage roads make for easy travel through this beautiful park.

Description

This former road begins at the Rockefeller State Park and Preserve visitor center/parking area. The pathway slowly descends southwest along the wide road for about 0.55 miles to where it intersects the "new" Sleepy Hollow Road. Be safe when crossing this active road.

Shortly after the road, you'll cross a small stream called Pocantico River on a well-made bridge. Right after the creek, the trail ends at an intersection with the Pocantico River Trail.
