“An easily accessible route which takes you from South Range into the woods with a dirt road and a steep hill climb.”— Sean Thorpe
At the top, enjoy the view of Houghton and Hancock while you take a little rest. Then take an immediate left from where you came up the hill to travel back down a rocky path. This will take you to another T where you'll turn left. You should walk past a municipal building on your right, follow the path to where there is pavement on your left and turn. This will take you very close to where you started and it should be visible on your left when you get to the next intersection.
