Overview

Cascade Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls (69') in Virginia and possibly on the entire East Coast. Little Stony Creek cascades over a vertical cliff in several different streams, making for an incredible display. The trail to the falls is a mellow one, although it will be mostly uphill on the way to the falls. That means that the descent back to the trailhead is a relaxing way to end your visit.

Description

Directions to Trailhead :
Follow 460W for approximately 25 miles to town of Pembroke.
Turn right onto Cascade Drive (Marathon gas station & Tangent Outfitters located on this corner).
Road ends at Cascades parking area (~3 miles).

After your hike cool off with a short canoe trip on the New River. Visit Tangent Outfitters (540.626.4567)
