Kids can easily tackle this trail's flat grade and smooth tread. If 3 miles might prove too much for your youngest ones, consider hiking out and back on a short section of the loop.
This is one of the most popular hiking trails in the city. The loop extends for about 2.9 miles, providing you with a shorter length if you so choose, but of course you can lap it to extend your distance. It is primarily a flat, smooth-dirt tread that loops its way through the trees along the perimeter of the golf course.
Pets are allowed but should be leashed and picked up after. Bicycles are not allowed on the exercise path, so you'll only have to share it with other pedestrians.
This part of the park also features a public golf course, a driving range, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a running track for your leisure.
