Family Friendly This route is an easy introduction to Cottonwood Canyon hiking.

Description

This is a short trail, mostly through aspens, to a small lake from which there are good views of the other side of Big Cottonwood Canyon. This is also an excellent introductory snowshoeing route in the winter, as there is usually plenty of snow, and the grades are manageable.
