Description

The Foothills Trail connects between the South Trailhead and North Trailhead. From the South Trailhead, the trail starts near Double Oak Lake but immediately heads into the woods at the heart of the park. The trail stays at mostly low elevations with some rolling ups and downs. On its northeastern end, it passes close by Tranquility Lake before crossing the Shackleford Point Trail (White Trail) and ending at the North Trailhead.
