Family Friendly Though sun exposed, this is the fastest route back to your vehicle if you haven't parked at the Kachina Bridge trailhead.

Description

This trail is good if you have already visited one of the other bridges on your way to Kachina Bridge and want to take a shorter route back to where you parked.

From the parking area at Kachina Bridge, cross the street to pick up this trail. It is very flat and only a mile long. However, it is very exposed with only short juniper-like trees that don't offer shade. So be ready for heat and the sun.

The path is clear and easy to follow as it passes through bio-crust - stay on the trail to protect this fragile, living soil. A few drainages will appear as trails, but when you actually encounter the Owachomo Bridge to Sipapu Bridge Trail it will be clear.
