Description

Eagle Mountain Lake Park has more than five miles of naturally surfaced, single use (hiking) trails. There is a pavilion with picnic tables, an informational display (ecology, flora fauna, etc.) area, restrooms, and water available near the main parking lot.

The Main Park Trail leads southwest from the parking area to the lake shoreline. The trail is wide and well marked, and the terrain is hilly with some short, steep, and rough climbs and descents. It winds through hardwood forest and west Texas scrub land (grass and cactus) and has some good views down towards the lake.
