Trail shared by Matthew Kidd

A popular mountain bike route and the fastest way to Los Peñasquitos Canyon waterfall.

Matthew Kidd

Features -none-

Family Friendly This is the fastest way to the waterfall in Los Peñasquitos Canyon, which kids love to see. Duck Pond half way down the trail will be of passing interest.

Description

This is popular route into Los Peñasquitos Canyon, particularly for mountain bikers who have created a number of jumps on the way down. Nonetheless, it is also a nice route for hikers. At the top, it is tree lined. Midway down at Duck Pond hikers can choose to cross over to the parallel track just east of the main line so as to avoid bike traffic.
