Description

The trail starts from the Lakeshore Trail at the southwest end of the lake. The trail steadily climbs up the valley offering excellent views of the lake behind you and mountains all around. It will exit the forest into fields of moraines. Thus, you'll have unrestricted views of the glaciers and mountains.

Nearly at the end is an old Tea House built by Swiss mountaineers. The tea house servers tea and snacks, but does run out. You can continue along the ridge of a moraine to some even better views of the glaciers at the end.
