Family Friendly It is flat and wide, although less so than other trails in the park. Still offers chances to see alligators.

Description

To get to this trail, you'll have to head north on the Horseshoe Lake Loop until you see the trail split off to the north. At that point, you can head north along an old road-like trail that can be a bit muddier than the other, more popular trails in the park.

The trail's loop-section doesn't start until after perhaps a third of a mile. When you get to the loop section, pay attention to how muddy it is as some sections can be impassible after a rain. If the trail is dry, it offers a nice chance to see a less-crowded section of the park on an easy, flat trail.
