Description

This trail is more rugged than some of the other trails in the area, but, due to its distance from the main park entrance and parking, it does not get a lot of foot traffic. There are sometimes mountain bikes and a few horseback riders, but mostly it is a good trail to go and enjoy by yourself. It was a bit more rugged and rocky in the past, but has recently been "groomed" and much of the trail is more "friendly" now.

It's an easy to follow trail with signs at the north and south ends where it joins Meridian Trail and Ruidoso Trail respectively. There is also a connector to a southeast entrance.
