Family Friendly This section of trail is mostly easy doubletrack with only mild climbing or descending.

Description

A dirt road connecting Gale Pond and the Penwood picnic area that can be used as part of a larger loop around Penwood. From the main parking lot, take the paved road to the right, and trail begins just past Gale Pond. Once at the picnic area, climb the paved road to Lake Louise, where there is access to other trails and roads.

This section of trail is mostly doubletrack with only mild climbing or descending.
