Overview

This is a nice out and back hike with a few finger detours located in Bill Baggs Cape Florida Sate Park.

Description

The Robin's Birding Trail starts at the south end of the key just northwest of the Cape Florida Light House. The first mile of the hike offers views of old Florida forests with some bird watching. At the end of the first mile, there is a raised clearing that historically served as a stopping place for migratory birds following the Eastern Flyway between North and South America.

Shortly after the clearing, the trail merges with a coastal trail that leads out to the No Name Harbor and its surrounding mangroves. From a lookout point at the No Name Harbor, you can get some fantastic views of the Stiltsville in Biscayne National Park.

Flora & Fauna

Southern oaks, mangroves and palms. Birds.
