This spur trail connects with the Razorback Ridge Trail
and winds along the eastern end of the ridge and then up the steep rocky approach to Crows Nest Peak. It is a pretty strenuous climb that peaks at 7800 ft. The views of the Donner Summit area are spectacular and worth the climb.
