“This trail starts as a manageable downhill and ends with a steep, rain-washed-out trench.

The Beaver Dam Path trailhead is found among spruce trees along the aptly named Spruce Run
. The trail runs steadily downhill for nearly two thirds of its length before running head on into Bog Run
. This is a tricky spot, as the natural flow of the trail would have hikers continue straight; however, to continue on Beaver Dam Path, take the hard right. This final third of trail is steep and runs within a washout full of 1' diameter boulders. The trail ends at Trout Run
