“An offbeat, but family-friendly hike through beautiful Santa Cruz redwoods, with viewpoints over the valley and coast.”— Wes Turner
Family Friendly Easy hike that large families with young kids could do! Fun viewpoints along the way!
The wide trail makes taking the whole family an enjoyable time, while still keeping the trail at a more intermediate level for those looking for a challenge.
There are lots of viewpoints along the way of the valley and of the Monterey/Santa Cruz areas. The trail is decorated with lots of funky, off-beat wooden animal characters, and gives the trail a unique feeling. The midpoint of the trail is rewarded with the best view of it all!
