— Erika Azevedo
Ridgeline run steep nonstop uphill. Gorgeous views. From the top you have a 360 degree of the ocean, Carmel, Garland Ranch, and Rancho San Carlos mountains.
Features: Birding — Views — Wildflowers — Wildlife
Dogs: No Dogs
Steep & uneven footing along the ridge line of the mountaintop the very top. On the way up you'll come to a fork in the road and you need to keep to the left. Pass horse corrals and ranch on your left. You'll come to a switchback and need to stay to the left and not take what looks like a trail headed straight. There will be a false summit and you keep running past it. There's a rolling hill to pass over as you head towards the summit, and you'll see the CFD Forest fire outlook on your right on a nearly summit. Once st the summit you'll have 360 degree views of Carmel, Carmel Valley, the Pacific Ocean, and Rancho San Carlos mountain range. You'll also be on the summit of Garland Park.
