This trail can be accessed from many different points to make a long or short loop around Middle Island. The trail follows along the waterway for its duration, offering various points to view and enjoy wildlife.

A diverse array of spring and summer wildflowers can be found along the trail. There are excellent opportunities for bird watching as well!
