The Aquila Loop Trail is a pleasant, mellow trail that makes for a great hike for beginners or for families with children. There are some nice views along the trail especially at sunset as the loop winds through rolling, grassy hills. There are a couple benches along the way where you can stop to take in the views of Santa Clara County and Alameda County.
