Description

Boasting beautiful desert views from a supremely accessible trail, the Big Butte Loop is a great option for Papago Park patrons of all types.

Starting from the junction with the Double Butte Loop, this easy trail can be traveled in either direction. While enjoying the trail, keep your eyes peeled for lizards sunning themselves on the sloping slabs of nearby Big Butte. While they might be tricky to spot, they can provide a fun activity for young and old alike.
