This fire road stretches north from the Castellammare trailhead off Vista Pacifica St on the southern end of Topanga State Park. It provides an alternate access point to the Los Liones Trail and makes up the majority of the Parker Mesa Overlook featured hike.

Past the turnoff for the Parker Mesa Overlook Spur, this fire road undulates along the ridgeline heading north toward Topanga, Trippett Ranch, and the popular Eagle Rock Loop. For an epic day, one could approach that loop hike using this southern start point.
