Features: Fall Colors — River/Creek — Spring — Views
Family Friendly: Not too long of a path, easily navigated, low risk of things like poison ivy.
At about the halfway point, you are right up above the confluence of the Big Walnut Creek and Alum Creek. This path is curvy and winding but not too long, giving you a few different perspectives of the park.
This trail heads from where the woods seem thickest at the start until you are adjacent to the creek leading up to the confluence, then a few open spots in banks along the path, and then back alongside the creek, until you end up under the bridge of the Alum Creek trail.
Overall, it's an exciting path with turns and changes along the way and gorgeous nature to observe.
